While still in European waters Taniwani's Crew has been the Sammer family, our
nephew Ulf, sister in-law Terry, niece Pamela, Felix's friends Jonas and Dominic,
Olof from Najad and his son Karl-Henrik, all in varying combinations. Also, not
pictured here, a group of friends from the good old Tandem days for a one week
trip and our friend Sanjay for the 2003 return passage from Madeira to Lagos.
While
in the Grenadines Beate's sister Ulrike and nephew Thomas joined us for two
weeks, then in Venezuela we had the nice company of Isaac Feuerberg for a few days
and while in the ABC-Islands our good old friends from California Wendy and Joel
Bartlet joined us.
In the Galapagos Islands we had the great company of Marlon,
a National Park Guide. Later in French Polynesia Jonas joined us again and then
also Flo, another friend of Felix. Markus joined us again for four weeks in
Tonga, then the "Young Endelig's", Jo and Noel were with us cruising
down the Tongan islands for two weeks. In New Zealand we had Vivian and Wing
accompanying us in the Bay of Islands and then down the shore to Whangarei.
At the start of the next season, we had the nice
company of Henry and Kikki of the yacht Endelig. Their own plans were to spend
the summer back home in England and then sail to Australia, but that left Fiji
out of the equation. So we were happy to welcome them on board of Taniwani for
the trip from New Zealand to Fiji and for some good time there.
In the Seychelles, Markus and our daughter in law
Astrid joined us for two wonderful weeks. At last our dear friend Joćo, Captain
of Mahi-Mahi and two times circumnavigator, joined us for the fast run around
the famous capes of Agulhas and the Good Hope, from Mosselbay to Cape Town.
